I plan on doing a student exchange program before I graduate high school in either Norway, Denmark, Germany or Sweden and I actually have a few questions.
1.Do all of these countries require students to wear school uniforms?
2.What is the weather like year around?
3.How much spending money should I bring?
4.Do they have movie theatres and malls? (this is probably stupid I know!!!)
yes all schools wear uniform usually skirt shirt tie and blazer.
Denmark and sweden can be cold with alot of snow. Germany can be hot in summer cold in winter.
Europe can be cheap due to the euro but compared to the dollar i have no idea if your a student exchange usually the university gives you a certain amount of money a week if you live with a family that sponser the school but you need to look into that as its different in each country,
And yes of course there are malls and theaters everywhere just enjoy the experience and learn from it!! good luck
This is our School Uniform Exchange catwalk. We had our final activity---catwalk after NDYS opening ceremony. We exchanged our school uniforms ...
Okay,
Im 15 and im going into grade 11 and basically I would like to find a school i can exchange to that...
1. Has Dorms I can stay at
2. isnt ridiculously long
3. Has school uniforms
4. is a boys and girls school
5. is somewhat near Tokyo
6. and (this is not needed but it would be nice) to not share dorms and have japanese themed rooms.
thanks :D
First you will need to go through some exchange program, and they will be able to organise all that for you. But firstly, most high schools will not have dorm rooms, as people live at home with their family. Almost all Japanese high schools have school uniforms, and are mixed schools (boys and girls). There are many schools located close to, but not in, Tokyo. If you did find a drom, they wouldnt be shared. And finally, I´m not sure what you mean by japanese-themed rooms - you will be IN Japan :s
don't throw away ur teakwondo or school uniforms.u can sell them to me.exchange with money...
????
Do I need to buy the uniforms? how much money do I need. Oh and I don't KNOW any Korean so how long do you think it will take for me to learn Korean and understand what the teacher is saying in class after I come to Korean School? How much money is it going to cost? what grade do I need to make in order to get accept to Korean School?
Well..I'm planning to go to Japan for exchange student program in 3 years..
To learn Korean, it takes time. I am teaching my self Japanese, won't take too long if you're keen on it. Depends how much money you will need.
Have you found a Student exchange program that you liked yet? You will need to apply for it. The exchange programs will look at your grades. You will need fairly high or well above grades. The exchange program will tell you how much money you will need also.
I know that's a vague description...but just a basic high school in Japan...I just want an estimation cause i want to be an exchange student there. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Public high school in Japan uses free textbooks given by the government and uniform would cost around 20,000 yen for girls and a little bit less for boys.
Private high school uses some textbooks given by the government but sometimes has special books that the school privately makes/ purchases so it could cost something like up to 10,000yen maximum. The school uniform is more expensive since they often hire a designer to make it. For girls, it would be 30,000 - 40,000 including shoes, bags and sometimes even socks. For boys it would be similar but maybe a little bit cheaper. They also have "funds" that students donate some money for. They say it is not mandatory but most of them do.

Scarlet evening dress 1997, Jacques Azagury, Organza and vermicelli beading The Princess chose this scarlet dress with its full skirt and a deep V cut into the back, to attend an event with Elizabeth Dole at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, during her visit to Washington in 1997. Azagury remembers the panic when the departure time was brought forward leaving only hours to finish the dress. The design showed all the hallmarks of the Azagury style and complemented the Princess's enjoyment of injecting a daring and seductive twist into serious dressing. Her Hallmark Style Diana once observed that she wanted to be thought of as a workhorse not a clotheshorse. Diana loved clothes; they were a passion and a public duty. As the Princess of Wales, her wardrobe requirements were complex; outfits were needed for her duties as a member of the Royal Family, overseas trips, charity work and the many official functions and charity galas that required eveningwear. From the early days...
