I ma writing a debate paper over public school uniforms and i cannot seem to find any statistics, like a percentage of people for and against uniforms, stuff like that...need help!!
I googled a million things and cannot come up with anything.

i'm writing a paper, and i need some statistics on what student's think of them. a poll, or a graph or something? anything would be helpfull
well, i can't offer you a graph, but i can offer you personal experience. i went to a Catholic school from kindergarten through 5th grade and we wore uniforms. boys wore navy pants and polos and girls could wear the pants or a plaid jumper. however, once a girl reached 4th grade, she could wear a knee length (maybe a inch or so longer) navy skirt. in the spring and early fall shorts were an option, as well. once or twice a month we had "N.U.T." (no uniform today) Days. we paid a quarter and could wear regular clothes. i liked having the uniforms at that age and so did my classmates and their parents. i think uniforms are appropriate at the elementary level. however, i do feel that they do not need to be in a high school. at this age, i like the freedom to wear what i want.

my children wear a uniform to school for primary age and i think it is a brilliant idea. it stops bullying about 'cool clothes' and stops children ruining their nice cloths.
i think it also makes them learn that everyone is the same, whatever colour,coulture or religion.

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand that question?? What sort of statistics do you need? Like how many people wear them, or how much the average one costs or whether people thing they should be worn or what?!
I found a couple of articles on google (links below) but i don't know how useful they are to you coz i dont know what you are looking for.

This got me thinking. At first, I understood Stephen Fry’s reaction on Twitter! But then I looked back at what I had written and realised that the posting about the zoo was rather weak!
It did however make me think about why I bother with this on-line diary. So I looked up the statistics on visits to the site.
In the last 20 weeks, I have made 37 entries. During that time I have had 2,261 views. This equates to an average of 113 per week and 61 per post. No bad I thought!
Of course the vast majority of visitors are family and friends, catching up with news, or reading out of a sense of duty, but we also receive some complete strangers looking up odd things on the web, eg;
“spirit of tasmania cabin”
“fromager des clarines, uk”
“coffee art hearts”
“robbers bridge”
But most importantly it keeps a record of our adventures across Australia. I’ll try harder in future to add at least one spiced up sentence in the narrative!
