I took a test and they said i would receive a high school diploma and it would go on my records! but they want three hundred bucks... seems suspicious!

I signed out of school to be home schooled last year but once we started looking for a homeschooling program early this summer me and my parents found out that it would be too much money to be home schooled. So i got on yahoo and tried to look for another way of me getting my diploma. I found a school named addison high school online and they claim that they are accredited and i looked at there company that they claimed accredited them and they seem to check out ok. I took there equivelancy test and passed above an 80 in all 4 areas. It says now that all I have to do is pay the 200$ and i will get my diploma package. I just wanted to make sure they were actually for real before i payed. If anybody could shed some light on this it would really be appreciated.
It seems that you may have taken a GED preparation class on line/. Did you take the GED examination at a state approved testing center? If you did then you need to contact the state for your GED certificate.
What are the contents of you diploma package? It seems strange. If the school issued you its open diploma they need to be accredited if the diploma is to mean anything and be accepted.
Who do you think will win in the class 4A game in addison Illinois? Addison or Mendota? We are both (8-2) so hopefully mendota will win. what do you think?

School boards in Addison County have imposed a contract on teachers at six schools after lengthy negotiations failed to result in agreement.
The imposed terms cover the current school year and give the teachers a pay increase that averages 2.5 percent, although according to the school boards, about 25 of 187 teachers in the system will not qualify for any raise because they have reached the maximum annual teacher salary of $71,625. The imposed terms increase teachers' share of health insurance premiums from 10 percent to 15 percent and eliminate language that guaranteed cost of living or step increases even when a contract has expired and no new contract has been signed. That issue has cropped up in multiple contract disagreements around the state, with teachers saying step raises provide consistency and fairness.
