My mom is a 2nd grade teacher and I wanted to make a slideshow for back to school night for her. Im not sure what to put in it tho thats worth making a slideshow for. I was thinking about the rules or maybe pictures of students doing activites but I kind of thought about this last minute and I wouldnt have the time to prepare an activity and take pics. Any creative suggestions?

I teach preschool aged children with autism. This is my first back to school night and I am not sure entirely what to discuss. Any ideas?
Back to school night is when parents come in the evening and are welcomed to look around the school, and hear about what their children are doing and meet with the teachers as a group. It is not an individual meeting about the student, but more about what they will be expected to do this coming year.

tonight is back to school night. its not for a few hours but i need to figure this out ahead of time. How can i get my mom (who will be going to every single one of my classes) to just go in sit listen and go out of the classroom without her talking to the teachers after the talk?
It depends on your reasoning... If it makes you feel embarrassed and uncomfortable then just be honest. Nicely explain to her how you think it will make you feel and then ask that she keep the conferences short. Say please. :) Good luck!

I'm not a parent, nor am I in school anymore, but I still get a feeling of nausea and depression as I feel so badly for the people who are still forced to go.
