Beauty School

I want to go to beauty school, so bad. The problem is I have 2 nine month old twins. I don't want to leave them in day care all day. How do beauty schools work (schedule) is their online beauty school. Learning how to do hair and makeup. Thanks

I'm going to cosmetology school right now and we have a couple people who are part time students. It may take a little over 13 months to finish depending on the school you choose and how many hours are required for your state, but you only go for a half day so you could try that? Or even to be an estetician (skin and makeup) I think that is like a 5 month program. Something like that.

my cousin went to beauty school and now she has her own salon...shes really happy too. not always the best money but she has a pretty good lifestyle

Do you need a GED to go into beauty school. or do they let you wait and get it befor you graduate? I dropped out in 10th grade. Started working full time. Now i want to do somthing in Beauty school. Do they want you to have your GED or can you get it while in beauty school as long as its befor you graduate?

Has anyone got a degree from an online beauty school, and if so, is it the same as a degree if you go to an actual beauty school. I found some online beauty schools, but I don't know if it will be worth it when it comes to finding a job. I don't know if they will look at it and think its not as good as getting a diploma from a beauty school where you actually go to. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

I cannot imagine how one could study this area of technical skill online.
This kind of work involves learning how to do things with your hands, understanding the tools, learning how the products work and feel when applied.
The only way I can see to learn this is to actually handle the stuff. Yes, there will be some theory/knowledge you could study on line. But after that, you'll have to apprentice.

How long are the courses to be a make up artist in Beauty school.
I'd like to be a professional make up atrist, so I wanna know how long the school program is,
a year or 2 years?

In my country ,the professional courses for bwauty school is almost 1 year.

Of courses,it's depended on youself to study.
