I am a Senior in high school and have been accepted to Cal State Dominguez Hills and Fullerton and have applied to various UCs, CSUs, and USC. If I were to drop my Anatomy class and replace it with Journalism for second semester would that look bad? I had a B the first semester, but its just too much. I already have three AP classes and I have already fulfilled my graduation requirement. The major I have chosen for college is Psychology.
No colleges look at Senior grades or classes, only the first three years of high school. You should be good!
Since the requirement to get into a cal state is 2.0, did any student have around that gpa or below a 3.0 and still get into a cal state? Is it possible to be put on academic probation or provisional acceptance if you do have a low gpa? Because I scored low on my SATs and my gpa is low, but Im not that far from where my SATs score needs to be with my gpa, so Im taking them over again. Is it possible they will still accept me?Any chance?
I know that some CSUs have an "open acceptance" policy for all students in their area who achieve the minimum GPA/SAT combination. So yes... big chance. This isn't UC Berkeley we're talking about here =p
I know that where I live, in Long Beach CA we have a few teams in the area like Long Beach POLY, Mater dei, Los Alamitos, Westchester, Artesia, & dominguez. These teams are consistently good and I was watching a WNBA game and thought in my opinion the teams I mentioned could beat them,, So I thought I would ask the opinions of others, maybe more qualified than I ? So I can't wait to hear the opinions. Thank you
Yea probably. Some of those high school guys are big time players in college then in the NBA. Before the rule, in your area there would always be one player coming straight out of HS to the NBA.
I am in my 11th grade year in high school. I still have my senior year to go. I am enrolled in a college class from Cal State Of Dominguez Hills. They come to my high school. I am planning on taking some winter classes in college.
Do I have to take the winter classes in Dominguez Hills College since I am considered a student there or can I take them in a Community College like El Camino?
(I basically have a spot at CSUDH) I don't know if I'm supposed to take them in CSUDH or El Camino Community College.. help plz?
The answer to your question is specific to your high school and/or the program through which you have "a spot" at CSUDH. You need to ask this to your guidance counselor and/or the person running your specific program.

“How the hell am I going to get anything done today?” Links of London Sale said, as he hurried to fill prescriptions amidst the flurry of phone calls.Renna said the business remains strong, but he is nevertheless ready for retirement. He literally can no longer stand the demands of the job. He can’t be on his feet for eight to 10 hours a day.Renna tried to find a buyer who would keep Esquire open, but was unable to do so. The location in a mostly vacant shopping plaza couldn’t have helped, especially after the recent departure of the Sav-A-Lot grocery.Renna finally decided to accept a long-standing offer from Rite Aid, which is buying Esquire’s customer base and its inventory. There’s a Rite Aid location less than a mile up the road. That means Esquire customers won’t have to travel far for their prescriptions. It would not be difficult to imagine Will Gregory filling the football cleats of Hawaii running back Alex...
