Hi Dante. An excellent way to learn English or any language is with Rossetta Stone. I'm currently learning French right now and I'm amazed at my progress. You can find the software at reduced prices at amazon and ebay, or if you want to get started today, most malls have kiosks that sell the programs. make sure you ask for a 10% discount.

I've been teaching English as a second language for the last 3 years in China. I am planning on moving back to the UK, and want to continue this type of work. In the schools I have worked at they all think I am a very good teacher. I have some Tefl qualifications, but not many. Is experience more important than qualifications?
Your forgetting the fact that the majority of students in the U.K speak english as a foreign language. You could try applying to big schools in London, Manchester etc. That have a high rate of foreign students but even they have a basic grasp of english.
