For english we have to write about what we did during the school holidays (This is year 9 by the way) and the problem is that I slept really long and went on the computer. So how am I supposed to write a page on what I did?
Only a page? I could write a page about what I am doing right now...answering your question. Just be creative. Talk about what you saw on the computer; write another paragraph about how great it feels to sleep late and then get up and have NOTHING to do. Then go on about why you chose not to do anything; have fun with it and make it sound philosophical instead of sounding like you just never got around to do anything. You know...
"I spend the better part of my year waking up early, hurrying out the door to make sure I am not late, hustling to get homework done, study for tests. 'Yes, Teacher. No, Teacher.' So when I have the opportunity to get away, I choose not to exhaust myself by climbing a mountain, or wasting what little money I have on a trip to the city. I reward myself for a term's hard work by sitting around doing absolutely nothing..."
Then you could write a paragraph about the computer and why you love it, another about sleeping in and why you love that, and so on. Make it clever, maybe a little funny. It's not hard.

I would suggest the Language Arts Section On This Site:
http://www.teach-nology.com/themes/lang_ arts/
I have my son and daughter use this site often. It's free.
I also use this site:
http://www.worksheetlibrary.com/subjects /languagearts/
But it does have a small fee associated with it for access to everything. I would recommend both.
there are in march and april, but it is depending on the area where you are going. There are 3 zones A, B and C.
Also the first round of Presidential elections is april 22.
when do all the english schools begin their summer holidays this year? what dates etc?
some in june, some in may... it really depends where you live
Because we want to go down to Alton Towers, and this way we can avoid masses of people.
Thanks in advance!
End / Middle of July. They all start at different times. I think mine start on the 16th July.

Anyway, snowHeads is MUCH better when you're logged in - you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-) What, with the archaic schooling in this country being so bad and parents can teach so much more by taking kids out for an 'educational' trip abroad during term time, and then dumping them on some poor ski school with a non-English speaking Frenchman all day, before then moaning about how terrible the lessons were and seeking advice on a nice English speaking school for next time..... We have booked to go before Christmas for the third time. We are going to Tignes 12 December. The last two years the snow has been great with no lift queues and quiet slopes. I am taking my daughter out of school for the...
