Football School

I want to play football in college but I am not big and strong so my coach said a divison 3 school is good for me. However, how can you get recruited by a divison 3 school. How hard is it?
I am a senior and this is my only year of varisty football though and I don't know if I am going to see a lot of playing time

You cant get scholarships that pay for schools like that. Just work hard and you should start getting letters. Always set high goals, and wherever you end up good luck.

What sorts of things does your school promote to create a sense of community, pride, and fun at your high school football games? In short, what makes going to a game at your school different from every one else?

- For every homecoming game we have a different theme ('08 was Disney themed) and the cheerleaders had their cheers centered around different songs. For example "I just can't wait to be king" from the Lion King
- We have the shirtless boys who paint numbers and names on their chests and stand out in the freezing cold
- We have blackout games (Everyone wears black)
- We embarass teachers and freshman at our Pep Rally every year. One kid always dresses up as our mascot = Rosie the Ram.
- A lot of red, white and blue (our school colors)
- The list goes on and on

I'm just wondering, since many of the football players at my school just live for football. They only go to class so they can get atleast a 2.0 gpa, which is required to play sports.

If you're a ncaa football player, what was different from learning football at the high school level and then learning football at the collegiate level?

hundreds and hundreds of more plays. it takes college players years to learn the plays

also i live in washington dc will they allow it there.

I imagine you can, but it depends on where you go to school. Some schools don't allow you to play football for there team, because your not in the school district. And other schools are just really anal about only kids from there school playing football. Your best bet is to ask one of the coaches or to call the school district. If you are allowed you better get your butt moving, because my football team is already in full gear...
