My daughter is a senior and has taken the science part of the Georgia high School graduation test 4 times and she has only 1 more time to take it until graduation. She misses it each time by like 5 points and I study with her each time. Does anyone know of any sites that can help her to pass this? Please help us!!!

What material and things I need to know and study to pass this test?
The GHSGT isn't as hard as you think it is. Don't stress it. I'm sure you could get a booklet to study or ask a friend who has already graduated what it is like. I didn't personally have to take the GHSGT, because I transferred from a public school in Georgia to a private one. Private schools don't require them. I heard Science is the hardest, so I'd be more worried about that section. As long as your decent with writing a paper and fixing grammatical errors, then you'll do fine! If you've made it to High school and have passed all of your classes, then you'll pass the graduation test.
None of my teachers have tried to prep me in any class. I know i shouldnt be too worried, but i wish to recieve goot marks. How can i prepare myself?
Those tests are pass fail. They mean nothing for college. As long as your not in the bottom 10% of your class or so - you should easily pass. They are designed to see if the bottom few really deserve a deployma.
Does anybody know anysites on this, the topics we are doing are Cells and Heredity, Ecology, Structure and properties of matter, Energy Transformation, and Forces waves and electricity please help me.

Hmmm Well if section in like 50 questions, but they are 5 sections. When I took it (2 years ago) the 5 sections were graded separately. Now I think it's all one big grade. Don't stress yourself out about it. The test was sooo easy. If you do well in your classes without trying you will be fine, but if you fail most of your classes you should probably talked to a teacher about it. Hope this helped, good luck!

The states are among 44 that have adopted the Common Core State Standards in English and math, and they are among states working to develop tests aligned with those standards.
The new tests could replace the current exit exams -- the Georgia High School Graduation Tests and South Carolina's High School Assessment Program -- in the next few years, according to a recently released report. was prepared by the Center on Education Policy, a Washington, D.C., think tank.
For now, the existing exit exams are the norm, with 28 states using them.
"States continue to use high school exit exams as a policy lever for school reform," Jack Jennings, the center's president and CEO, said in a statement. "But until states can provide more reliable and consistent longitudinal data, researchers will continue to struggle with identifying how exit exams impact student achievement and high school completion rates."
Possible changes
South Carolina is one of 15 states indicating that it plans to either replace its exit exam with a yet-to-be-developed common core exit exam or adjust the HSAP so it conforms to those standards, according to the report.
