I am going as a freshman this year. If u go to Townsend Harris High school can u tell me about gym and homework in Townsend.

its okay. lot of hw. because im a muslim i get picked on. and 5:00 everyday. man. im lucky i transfered. so much work. i finish my work about 1:00 night

I might apply for Townsend Harris high school next year so can you help me with the requirements because

I currently attend Bronx Science, but I got into Townsend Harris. I had an average of 94, which isn't that great, and the schools don't look at your average. I had a very good citywide test score, which got me in.

I am still trying to decide on which high school to go to - either Townsend Harris or Bronx Science. I really enjoy science, but I have heard that Townsend Harris has a better learning environment. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!! <3

As a current junior at townsend, i cant say much about bronx science. Townsend harris is a humanities school. We are more based on writing and all that stuff. But despite what everyone says, our science department is really good also. We have some of the best science teachers in all of nyc. You can join Science Olympiad, in which our team has gone to nationals ever year in. We have really cool science electives also, such as forensics, robotics, organic chem, anatomy physiology, enviornmental science, science research, and much more. If you take science research, like I do, you can actually choose the specific field of science you want to research in and work along side a professional scientist in a lab to conduct your experiment.

If you do chose townsend harris, yes, you will be in the SAFEST school in nyc. I can honestly say that there are no fights what so ever. The worst crime you will encounter is someone stealing your calculater or your websters dictionary...lol. When i was picking high schools, i also got accepted to both bronx science and townsend harris, and i chose townsend. And i dont regret it.

I would like to become a vet would it be a good idea to attend Townsend Harris High school in nyc even though it specializes in english ?

High school isnt a big determining factor in vet school acceptance. As long as you get good grades. What really matters is what college and how well you do there. A well accredited masters degree with high grades gets you into vet school. So keep those grades up!
