I deleted my high school off my facebook but I am still on that high school alumni search! Help!?

I am looking for a little more privacy so I wanted to take myself off my high school search. I have not joined the network and I have deleted my education on my profile but I am still on the search.
Help!
Thank you!

You have to either remove your school or change your privacy settings. The removing school sometimes does not work right away. I had it on my account and took it off for similar reasons. It took a while and then finally I didn't show up anymore under my high school. If this is the case, you may want to change your privacy settings to only friends or friend of friends. You won't show up there anymore except to people in these categories....Hope this helps...

2010 Alhambra High School Alumni Baseball Game

An inning from the 2010 Alhmabra High School Alumni Baseball Game. Featuring John Venti

To high school alumni: Does Who’s Who Among American High School Students have any credibility?

This is a question for high school alumni who received and accepted the Who’s Who Among American High School Students award.

Does the award have any credibility or validation?
Did it help you to get into the college of your choice?
And if so, which one was it?
Do college admission boards actually look at the award as a credible achievement?

If you are going to answer this question please make sure you had accepted the award. Don’t post an answer like, “I didn’t get that award but I still did dandy…” Again, this question is only for those that have received this award and are currently in college.

I'm getting ready to go into college, but I have received this award. This is free to receive and any award boosts your credibility. I'm not sure if it had any effect on me getting into Bellarmine University (or any other college/university I applied to), but it certainly didn't look bad!

Is an alumni high school football game a good idea? Have you ever heard of one?.?

I got the idea after reading about a alumni basketball game involving past players from all of the high schools in the district. It would be for scholarships.

My school has 1, it's alum's from 5 years spans, so like class of 2001-2005 vs class of 1996-2000. Also it's an 11 on 11 flag football. Lets face it, if we were that good to go live we would still be playing, so we'll play a flag football but still with o-line men, d-line, blitzes and the occasional tackles with the excuse 'i was trying to get the flag'

The game normally sells out actually with most of the money going to the booster clubs. Plus it's a great way to reunite with some old friends you haven't seen in years.

If Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson was having a High School Alumni game who would be on your team?

Here is my team
PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: Jerry Stackhouse
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Josh Smith
C: DeSagana Diop
Bench: Rod Strickland, Ron Mercer, Stephen Jackson, Mark Blount
I forgot about Durant and Lawson. Both players would be on my bench.

id take your team but move Kevin durant to 2.
if we were takin skills out of high school id put brandon jennings in for Rondo

Other than classmates.com, what are some of the other high school alumni type social networking sites?

I remember using one of these highschool alumni sites that I liked much better than classmates.com. If I recall, I believe everything was free on this alumni site and more of my highschool classmates were on this site than classmates.com. Can anyone think of other sites that have high school alumni that is a fairly popular site. (Not myspace). TIA

Alumni.com is wonderful and then there is a alumniarchive.net. I've used both of these, but have had the most luck on classmate......

  • Adam Scott Collegiate parents, alumni form group to fight to keep ...

Politics will play a role in the decision over the possible closure of one of four city high schools by 2012 or 2013, an Adam Scott Collegiate alumnus says.

Students, parents, teachers and other interested community members should get involved in the school board's review process because politics, as well as factors such as enrolment and accessibility, will determine the future of the city's public high schools, James Burrett said.

"We've been told by people who are knowledgeable that it's not just facts, it's also politics," he said Friday. "Because it's partly political, we felt that it was important to make sure that Adam Scott was represented in the four meetings that are coming up."

Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board is holding four public meetings to get feedback from the community. The meetings are being held Feb. 3, Feb. 28, April 7 and May 12.

To help raise awareness and generate interest, the Adam Scott parents' group has launched a website (www.adamscott.org/arc) and a Facebook group called Adam Scott Our Doors Are Open.
