Can I become a University of Phoenix Professor with a High School degree?

I heard all the Univerity of Phoenix required to become a Professor was a High school degree with a 2.0 GPA. I graduated high school with a 2.05 GPA, so do I have a chance?

You heard wrong however based on your question and the name you have dubbed yourself I can see this was purely for your own entertainment. Try a Masters Degree or a Doctorate and you might be in the ballpark.

Has anyone with a Penn Foster High school degree been accepted into a university or college?

I graduated from Penn Foster High school and was wondering if anyone has graduated from their high school progam and been accepted into a university. Are any universities more prone to accept the degree?I am now applying to universities and would appreciate any info anyone could give me. I have a 4.0 GPA, I did not take the SAT or ACT, I am a minority, and had jobs through high school.. What are my chances of getting accepted?

I went the community college, then the university route after Penn Foster High School. So can't really say yes or no. But it is worth a try. Although I think you have to have some record of taking the SAT or ACT or basically have scores in order to be admitted to a major Uni. So you may want to take the ACT then apply. Most Universities want top 10% in high school class plus high or average SAT and or ACT scores to be admitted into particular majors such as engineering, material science etc. So you may want to look into a community college like I did that will transfer to a local 4 year University.

Is it possible for a 20 year old to earn a high school degree at home without doing it online?

My cousin is a 20 year old single mother with a 1 year old little boy. She would like to finish getting her high school degree but can't go to class because she works full time and can't afford to have someone watch him if she were to go to night classes. (her boyfriend watches him during the day). She doesn't have internet and was wondering if it is possible to earn it at home, similar to home schooling?

Well I could be wrong, but at this age I think she can only go for her GED. I believe if you have dropped out of high school and are over 18 you need to get a GED. In which case should could study at home for the exam.

  • World War II Veteran Gets High School Diploma 67 Years Later In My ...

Hilberto Rodriguez graduated from Garfield High School in Los Angeles, Calif., this week — a mere 67 years late.

Rodriguez, 86, was meant to graduate in the class of 1944, a local ABC affiliate reported. But history intervened in the shape of World War II.

Instead of worrying about exams and chasing girls like the other high school guys, Rodriguez enlisted and went to fight in the South Pacific.

“Congratulations sir, you are now an official graduate and alumni of James A. Garfield High School,” school principal Jose Huerta told Rodriguez.

Jorge Rodriguez, Hilberto’s son, said his dad always regretted not having graduated. So Jorge worked with Los Angeles Unified School District to arrange the graduation.

The School District agreed, even laying on a band and cheerleaders to celebrate the war hero.

“I brought back one of your own, and one of your proudest Garfield Bulldogs, my dad,” Jorge Rodriguez said, according to the local ABC affiliate.
