I live in Wisconsin, I am 20 years old. And I never got my high school diploma. I really don't have time to go to an acutal school. I am a stay at home mom during the day and I work at night. How could i get an actual diploma at home? any websites??
I dropped out of High School and tried to get the "Home School diploma" and its not worth the trouble. ... heres the thing. Some colleges will take let you in based on your ACT and SAT scores, if you tell them you were home schooled. But, some won’t being that its not accredited and the Military will NOT take home school. What I ended up having to do is go through a school called Gateway Prepatory Academy and basically, they give you the classes you need to finish on a disk and you do the work and email it in and then you take the test online and they mail you an accredited diploma. Basically, you’re buying the diploma. It’s not that bad, you can work at your own pace and being that you have kids, that would probably work well for you. Good Luck and I hope I helped.

my friend dropped out of high school because her family was having problems, her dad left, and her mom got hooked on drugs, she is 16, and she want's to finish but has no means of getting to school, she is staying with me for now and i want her to try to get the high school diploma at home. anyone ever did this. did it work well for you? just want to know of your experience if you have. don't care to hear criticism about her choice either. thanks a lot .
I am currently getting my diploma online. I have attended two online schools that are very good. The first was Keystone. Great program, challenging classes, clubs, and discussion boards. The downside is that it's expensive. Your friend would be looking at an education upwards of $3 grand and payments around $150 a month. Next I tried Ashworth. they have 2 programs you can enroll in. General Diploma and College Prep. I chose the college prep and I pay $43 dollars a month and my total education will be somewhere around $1200. IMO both schools are excellent it really depends on what your friend can handle financially. Ashworth was great for me price-wise and also because they give a graduation every year to students and a class ring. For me being able to walk at graduation was important. i will leave you the website so you can check them out. If you want more info feel free to email me.

I went to 12th grade but I didn't graduated because I got married so I got out of school early. So I need help looking for some way to get a high school diploma by home or online. Please help me. I live in Orange, TX
There are many homeschool organizations that will help you compose a transcript of all the classes you've taken so far, and can help you document the ones you still need to fulfill your state's graduation requirements. Many people are surprised to find out they already have the full amount of credits necessary, even if they didn't stay to finish that final semester or two at the high school.
Do a search using Texas and homeschooling, with the words diploma or graduation to find groups that offer these services. You could join an online high school, but usually they require that you take a minimum number of credits with them, and you may already have what you need to graduate without taking any more classes. If you are short on classes, then this might be a very good route.
Best of wishes.

Continental Academy Offers an Online High School Diploma with ...
PRLog (Press Release) – Jan 21, 2011 – Continental Academy, a Florida-based distance learning high school that started in 1996, separates itself from other distance learning institutions by giving students an online high school diploma instead of just a GED.
Continental Academy gives students a real diploma that they can present to their future employers. In addition, it offers a money-back guarantee. This allows students to try out the course for the first 30 days, risk-free.
While Continental Academy’s classes are mostly online, academic support is also given over the phone, for students who have questions about the lessons or the study materials. A dedicated toll free number is given along with the students’ first set of study materials.
To make it more convenient for students to pay their tuition, Continental Academy now has multiple payment options. Students can either enroll their credit card online to process the payment,...
