I am not familiar at all with High School Musical, or any of the sequels. However, this is the theme my niece picked for her birthday party. I am going to make the cake, and want something really unique. It does not need to be simple at all; I have been decorating cakes for years and I am fine to work with fondant, tier cakes, gum paste, etc. However, not knowing the premise of the movie, I am having a hard time coming up with a spectacular idea. Please help!
You could make a graduation cap and on it with fondant make letters saying "High School Musical". Make sure you use red, white, and yellow.

I need a cake for my twin 8 year old daughters birthday party. I was trying to figure out all of the things I will need to decorate it and wondering if it would be cheaper to just buy one at Walmart. I have all of the decorating tips and materials, I guess I just need help figuring out an easy way to make it look really nice.

I'm making a birthday cake for my niece and my son, and they both like the High School Musical movies. I wanted to put a picture of the Wildcat paw, you know, the symbol for the team the Wildcats, so that I can transfer it to the cake. I can't find it anywhere. Homemade High School Musical Birthday Cake
This High School Musical Birthday Cake is five flavored homemade birthday cakes with flavors consisting of lemon, banana, butter, coconut, and vanilla. The recipe for this cake calls for the Watkins flavor brand and you can also exchange Rum extract in the place of the banana flavor. It also calls for 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, 1/2 cup vegetable shortening, 3 cups white sugar, 5 eggs beaten until lemon colored, 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon Watkins Baking Powder, and 1 cup of milk.
Each one of the flavors require 1 teaspoon per flavor. The cake size of the pan was 11x15 and should be baked at 325 F for 1 3/4 hours or until cake test...
