High School Musical Play

I'm a freshmen at my high school. I want to try out for our school play. I want to do it so bad because its a musical Cinderella. What would be the best song to sing for a girl who not a high pitch but in the middle? Please help.

if you're in the middle, then say you're mezzo. it sounds legit and you feel all professional:) heehe. anyway, songs to sing? if you can sing songs from the show then sing.....

Yes, I have seen this play dozens of times- I was the Production Stage Manager for a professional theatre that did it this summer- so I've seen it more than I ever wanted.

Ahh, Mrs. Tenny- I played her voice. Our production simply used a voiceover for her character instead of actually having her appear onstage.

So you're right. She's not a huge character. She's got three or four lines, but you can still have a lot of fun with her. Her lines are one of the first kind things that Gabrielle hears at her new school. Tenny praises her and tells her that she has a lot of potential.

Congrats on getting a speaking role!

Musically, it's not appealing. Also, most young people who I've seen in it aren't dedicated enough to learn all the coreography a musical properly, so that throws the show outta whack too.
