Insurance School

I live in the Houston area. I am ready to obtain my life and health insurance license. I would prefer to be taught by some who is in the business or who has retired from the insurance business. I also want some one who is familiar with the content and questions on the test. Can anyone recommend a school that is thorough and dedicated to helping students pass the exam and get licensed?

i know i have insuranace, but i dont know what school insurance is and it says that if you dont have it, then talk to the athletic office. will it take long to get and is it hard? also, what is it?

Hello! I need basic cheep (pointless) health insurance so i can move into my dorm room for college.
I have no insurance, neither does my mother and my dad... thinks i should work as a waitress,get married and pop out a few children, so he's of no help.

where is a good inexpensive student insurance place that will pretty much just say "she's insured!" and let me continue on my way thru school tiptoeing around so i wont get hurt.

In nearly all cases, the cheapest option for students is whatever their school offers. If you go to one of the few schools that does not offer any insurance, then the cheapest option will be one of the options that is available only in your state and not in the other 49 states. The only inexpensive options that are available nationwide are only available to employees of the federal government. Other than the federal government, there is no good inexpensive place that offers insurance for all 50 states.

If, like most schools, your school offers some type of health insurance, take it. If not, then post this question again with the name of your state, so that we can tell you what options exist in your state, although all of them will be more expensive than getting insurance from a school.

We, 25-people Bible Study Group wants to use Elementary School classroom for our meeting twice a month during the evening. School Dist requires a minimum 2 Million $ Liability Insurance coverage.

How much will it cost? (in range)
we are in Northern California.

It's probably going to run you about $750 for a stand alone policy.

Why don't you check with your church, and see if you can get coverage for way less, added to your church's liability policy? You might get it for as little as $100, to $250 - as an endorsement to a church policy.
