Internet School

Alright I'm thirteen and I live in Los Angeles. I have been jumping around schools trying to find something good but, children are just so annoying I am at the end of my tether with them the teachers are also corrupt in my school it is just not a good learning environment.
So I want to go to an internet school seeing as I've stressed all other options.
What are some benefits of internet classes for 8th graders?
What can I use to convince my parents of letting me enroll in one?

The best thing about online schools is that you can learn at your own pace, and there isn't as much drama as a public school. I started Connections Academy when they first started in Oregon and I was in 8th.

You could always do the research about the school or program you are most interested in, then bring that information to your parents. Another thing about Connections Academy is that it is free, and you have almost constant communications with teachers without having to actually see them everyday.

my school 'blocks' certain sites (myspace, facebook, stuff like that) but people still get on them anyways, how do they do this? im asking this b/c i cant check my yahoo or aim email accounts while at school (sometimes i email projects/papers to myself) can anyone help me?

try using www.helpfulgoblin.com. its a proxy server that can hide the contents of a website from ur school blocker. its really simple and if that site gets caught on ur school blocker, their mailing list provides u with alternate proxies.

so i have a computer with some sites already blocked on it, i got it from my internet school. i really want to block a site and i went to internet options, privacy and put inthe site, but it still lets me get on the site
what can i do?

I need to take online schooling for my last year of high school and I want an internet school where I can get my diploma, They have laptops instead of just desktop computers, and I won't be able to sign on everyday at the same time so it needs to be flexible.

lots of cyber schools are very flexible. if you live in pennsylvania, 21st Century, PALCS, and/or PA Cyber. :)

I am pretty socially awkward and I just don't like school. Is there a way I could I could do that k-12 Internet school program? I usaully get straight As and I have friends but I just don't like school.

Yes, online schooling has become very popular. Look into the ones in your state and sign up for a brochure. Online schools are free, because your school and state pays for them. They give you a laptop and textbooks, for school only, and you just send them back when you are done school. They also invite you to all kinds of social outings so you would not miss any of that part. Good luck.
