Is there any financial help i can get as a student at London School of Beauty to help with paying my fees or is it a private institution?
It's a private school, so you have to pay all the fees.
This video gives a breif pictoral overview of everything that LCBT has to offer its students.
Can anyone give me opinions on either of these schools. Would like to train to do bridal work and not sure what school to attend??

I have spoken lots to admin staff at the London School of Beauty, if the tutors have the same brain power, I wouldn't go there. However, get the course detials of both and take a tour, check out which one produces the best work but also check who has the best overall pass rate, not just the highest grades overall. It would be worth looking who they have partnerships with and if you would be likely to get any work there.
I'm looking for a private Beauty School/College/Academy where I can do my NVQ's and Degrees in Beauty Therapy.
I'm planning to move to London when I'm 16 so I need somewhere that accepts 16 year old pupils.

I'm looking into going to the London School of Beauty to study media make-up. I'd like to do theatrical-type make-up for things like movies and plays. Is this realistic and are there other things I could do with this sort of degree?

I have found London make-up academy, but altogether £4500. Its a 7 week evening course, 4 nights a week, and teaches make up, hair, nails and eyebrows, but then there is London school of Beauty and Make up which is every saturday for 10 weeks and £1000, and just does make up and eyebrows. How much do i need to learn in my courses to start doing make up as a profession? I have no-one to help me so I need all the advice and help I can get.

When I was first thinking about training as a make-up artist and researching courses, I found it very difficult to find any reviews from previous students on any of the major schools or colleges. To help those who are considering their options, here's my review of The London School of Beauty & Make-up . Be prepared for your skin to take a bit of a battering! We were asked not to come to college wearing make-up and I'd recommend this if only for the reason that it saves the number of times you need to cleanse your skin.
