Has anyone read about the Oklahoma high school football coach who suspended himself for the rest of the year?



Yes, and he should be fired.

He brought an out of state player being courted by OU into his district and set him up to live with an assistant coach. To top it off, the player was academically ineligible to play in his home school but that was ignored when he transferred.

You hear about this stuff happening but rarely does it see the light of day. He's a disgrace to coaching.

Has anyone heard of Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma? The football program?

I was just wondering because i heard that this was a top high school football program nationwide. Anyone know anything?

Gadsden city is a much better school.

    Been making the rounds with some of the kids that participated in the US Army National Combine in San Antonio. Here are some of their thoughts and impressions on last weekend:

    Cayman Bundage, OL, Douglass

    Douglass junior offensive lineman Cayman Bundage doesn’t have any official offers, but he turned a lot of heads at the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio.

    Bundage, 6-foot-2 and 293 pounds, was a reason why the Trojans won their first state football championship since 1976.

    Recruiting experts said Bundage was light on his feet and had one of the best techniques in pass blocking.

    Bundage became a name to watch last summer after a strong performance in a Florida State camp. The Seminoles have continued to show interest in him. Oklahoma, Nebraska, Alabama and several others have been in contact with Douglass coach Willis Alexander regarding Bundage.

    “Cayman has been ready to play since he was in the ninth grade just because of his quickness, his footwork and his understanding of how to play the game,” Alexander said. “He’s getting a lot of interest from BCS conference schools. He’s a center or guard in college, even though we’re playing him at tackle.”
