Primary School

My son is 3 years and seven months old and has been going to nursery since he was 9 months.

I have been told he cannot start reception/primary school until September next year by which time he would almost be five. He was born in October and we live in the UK.

can someone please shed some light as I feel he will be too old to remain in his current nursery by the time he is eligible for Primary
.

The school are correct but can I suggest something.
I assume your son has been in a private nursery which caters from babies up, does the school he will go to next year have a nursery class?
If so try see if you can get him in there. School nursery classes are usually more educational based where private nurseries are more care based.
I run a nursery class and work closely with the local private nursery. We have parents who move their kids to us when they turn 3,(from private care) for their free sessions because they feel it prepares their kids for school.
If they need full day care you could organise for the private nursery to pick them up - it works really well with our situation.

cam someone give me an ides of how to open a primary private school?
the procedure and formalities and everythin and expexcted initial investment required?

you have not mentioned in which state do you want to open a primary school. However, I am giving some requirements-
1- Building infrastructure having class rooms, office rooms, play grounds etc
2-Qualified staff as per norms of state boards / cbse as the case may be.
3-Regisration formulities with local District Education Officer's Office
I think, now you can guess or estimate about initial investments on it.

This applies to the UK. During the past 3 or 4 years, I have seen primary school children taking an A3 sized bag which is the same colour as their school jumpers with the logo on it. They are also carrying a normal school bag and sometimes a lunch box or bag.

As I don't know of anyone with a primary school aged child, I cannot ask them.

they carry their school reading books that are given to them to read at home, and they take them back to school as they read it to their teacher. also sometimes the work they do at school they are allowed to take them home later

We are moving to Adelaide in the new year and would like to know if there is a good primary school in this area and also if Mount Barker high is any good? Also we are considering Mawson Lakes and while we can find a good primary school are struggling to find a good high school in the Mawson Lakes area. Any ideas?

First of all Adelaide is a big city so you need to be more specific on what part of Adelaide you are moving to for me to recommend a good primary school.
