School Academy

What is the difference between a school academy, institution, and college?
I am am going to be a fashion design student. I want to start a special school in the state of mississippi for fashion art ect. I starting to plan it out. want to pick the right world for it. Do anyone know any websites that will give me information on how to start a school or have any advice?

Hi, can you please tell me if you know anything about K12 Home school academy ?

They offer basic home school program and also Virtual Academy ( public school with a teacher)

Does anyone know how it works with a teacher ? Do You do everything on there time ?

AND......Has anyone use K12 School program?

K12 is a virtual school. Probably what they mean is that they are a virtual public school in states which permit them to operate as distance learning (affiliated with a public school in-state) which is paid for by taxpayers and a virtual school in those states which do not permit distance learning and the parent pays tuition.

I have never used it, but I did go to a presentation, something I would recommend to anyone interested. You get to look over the materials and ask questions. If your state requires public schools to include PE or state history (or?) you need to ask if they include those. At the demo I went to, it was marketed as free homeschooling. Taxpayers know it's not free and homeschoolers know it's not homeschooling so I don't think much of their integrity.

My big question has always been - why do you sent all your intimate family information to a PO Box in Maryland instead of the sponsoring local school district? (K12 in located in VA.)

I have an 04 Audi A4 3.0 and i would like to know how to maintenance and repair my own car especially knowing that audi parts can be very expensive. Anybody have any suggestions of schools or academy's that might be around for european cars or specifically audi's?

I think there are a lot of technical schools to learn auto repairs, but I doubt there is one just fro Audis.

I faxed the papers about friday and it is sunday and i was wondering how long it would usually take to get school supplies through mail through connections academy? And if you can stop going to regular school afetr you fax the papers?? Please help! Thanks:)

I took us about a week but you can start the work before your books come once they place you all the books are online to so you don't have to wait.Yes you can with draw from the other school when ever you want.Its a good school we are very happy with it.
