These days schools are opting for IB or IGSCE boards which are international boards. The schools pay heavy franchisee fee and charge inexorbitant high fee. the gullible and rich parents are made scapegoat as they have the maens and it is presented to them that these boards are better than the Indian boards. while it has been proved that the indian system of education is one of the best in the world as far as curricullum planning is concerned. methodologies of teaching are a schools' prerogative, and these days there are many schools who are using latest well proven international teaching techniques. So where lies the difference? Or is it the indian mind set which accepts anything "foren" as better than Indian? Please list the advantages over Indian boards in genral.
It's the "not invented here" syndrome in reverse. Everything looks better if it is foreign.

I am tired of complaining about the uniform policy, can any one provide me with all the evidence against the uniform policy? how should i write it?
Uniforms are always a good thing. It makes students feel safe. Teachers can't judge students as good or bad because of what they are wearing. They can't identify gangs, because they all are required to wear the same color. And best of all you don't have to decide on what to wear in the morning. You can try writing to the district about why you want to change it, but I doubt they will.

So far havent gotten anything.
trying it now
didnt work, access denied, any time i type proxy in a search engine it seems to automatically do that
ext and schoolstar just show a blank page the others show as blocked. I joined the group but so far haven't found one proxy to work.
Web filters like Websense can scan for and detect a proxy as soon as you try to connect to it. The technology is quite simple and all the web filtering systems now use it. It doesn’t matter what the name of the proxy is, how fresh it is or anything else. The proxy will be detected and blocked. Sometimes on the fly and others a little while later by the administrator.
Say you get a proxy to work for a bit. What do you get for all the work involved in finding one that does? Most of these free proxies are are hacker pots designed to either steal your information or plant bots on your computer. The hacker then has control of your machine and can steal credit cards, attack web sites and send out tons of spam all from your IP address. The recent Facebook and Twitter DDOS attacks that took down their entire networks is a classic example of what people using proxies and getting infected enables.
The few that are not hacker related are loaded with advertisements, as that’s how the owner is making money. The owner of the proxy is probably also watching everything you do so they can take whatever information they can, email addresses and such and sell them for a profit.
In either case the owner has no incentive to provide fast response, high bandwidth or compatibility with advanced web site features. You are being used by the proxy owner and they are delivering very little back to you.

US Education Secretary to Wake County School Board - The ...
America’s strength has always been a function of its diversity, so it is troubling to see North Carolina’s Wake County School Board taking steps to reverse a long-standing policy to promote racial diversity in its schools ["In N.C., a new battle on school integration," front page, Jan. 12]. The board’s action has led to a complaint that has prompted an investigation by our Office for Civil Rights, but it should also prompt a conversation among educators, parents and students across America about our core values.
Those core values, embodied in our founding documents, subsequent amendments and court rulings, include equity and diversity in education and opportunity. In fact, on Monday we celebrate the life and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose movement for racial equality inspired a nation and brought us closer to the more perfect union envisioned by our founders.
In an increasingly diverse society like ours, racial isolation is not a positive outcome for children of any color or background. School is where children learn to appreciate, respect and collaborate with people different from themselves. I respectfully urge school boards across America to fully consider the consequences before taking such action. This is no time to go backward.
