School Database

I want to work for the chronicle & echo, how would I apply for work experience there even though it is not on the school's database? And we are allowed to choose our own work, I'm just not sure how to apply for a job there?

You can either ring them and ask if they take people on for work experience, or if you'd prefer, you could write to them, asking to do work experience, and enclosing your CV. You can easily get the address by googling Chronicle & Echo.

i work at my local public library and we are working on getting our information (books, patrons, etc) on the national database for libraries (Concourse) is there something like that for school libraries?

This position in a school is in charge of the school information system. The database consists of all the students with their information as well as grades. It also involves printing the report cards and transcripts. Included also is the student schedules. What type of degree or education is really needed to perform this job?

u can do any course on oracle or mysql in ur nearby computer center
if u are too interested in database u can do certification course in oracle and get an international certificate by taking up the exam
