Secondary School

My 11 year old daughter is about to go to her induction day for her new secondary school she is extremely nervous and as she is my first child I dont have any experience.. what tips shall i give her? anything is welcome! xx Thank you xx

My daughter has had a hard time in primary school and her friends are always calling her a dork but she says that she will leave all her friends behind at primary school and get new frends at secondary but now she's starting to get nervous any tips to get her friends at secondary

My son basically started a new life once he hit grade 9 in high school. He had friends in elementary, but nothing special - always felt out of place. He just 'found his own way' at high school, once there were many more kinds of kids around him.
Best thing to do is have her join some sort of club or organization at the new school - that worked for my son.

aww don't worry, I've been there, and i had to start all over again just this last year at college. It seems scary but just be yourself, smile at people and try and be confident, a good conversation starter is always 'what primary school did you go to?' or someting like that. Ignore the people who claim not to like you there will be pleanty more people to talk to! I bet that in a few weeks time you'll have such good friends you'll wonder why you where very scared! good luck!

American High School and the Caribbean Islands secondary school? Also, What is Junior School, School - 10years, School - 11years, School - 12years? Does School - 12years refer to the completion of the American High school?

they are the same but with different names
i live in the UK and we have secondary school but i know america have high school. they are for the same age groups
