Did that school not suck or what?
I would have if we wouldn't have moved. I loved Sharpstown, but it was getting so dangerous...I've been looking for an old friend, Holly Kipp, would should have graduated from Sharpstown in 1994 (if she didn't move also)....

Contac the school. They will sell you copies if they have extras.
ive tryed plenty of sites but they all charge. is there any way to look at year books for free.what im tryin to do is look for a friend of mine whom i lost contact with over the years and i would love for one day know something about this person or try to look for this person. ok his name is jorge .we went to sharpstown high school in houston i know hes from hunduras and hes about 23yrs old.i mean im tryin to see if i can see a year book for free and look him up so i can see his last name. and the reason why i dont have a year book cause i know thats what yall are gonna wonder is cause i moved and a came back many years later. please if someones please tell me.i trully wish i knew why i wanna find this person so bad.
Go to classmates.com and look under his graduation year and then browse through Jorge's of that year. That way you can find his last name and look him up on MySpace or Zabasearch.com.
I am moving to Houston next week and i have a cousin that goes to Chester W Nimitz High School. I have a friend that lives between the "George Bush Park and Sharpstown" area. I lived in Salt Lake City most of my life, i have alot of African American friends here. Do hispanic and black people get along there? Is it racist there? How safe are those areas?
I didn't know there was "a lot" of black people in Utah! LOL!! There are some Hispanic people that get along with black people, and some that don't. That goes both ways. Believe it or not you will find racists in every city, and Houston is no exception. The area between Sharpstown and George Bush Park has some good and bad areas. Nimitz is near Bush airport, and it has some good and bad areas also.
I'm 16 and just can't rely on anyone else for money and need a way to make my own. But I am also still in high school so my availabe hours are limited. I've already tried all the typical teen jobs like every fast-food resteraunts and have been turned down each time.
I guessing the main problem is that people make the assumption that i'm a thug because of the way I dress and look ( people ALWAYS tell me i look angry but i cant do anything about it because its just natural ) but im just not like that
[ i live in the southwest / sharpstown area ]
So what do i do ?
i guess you could say that my face looks alot like my avatar
so i keep getting big silver chains for christmas (i like em so i wear em) and wear somewhat baggy clothes, there just so comfortable !!!!
i was actually lookin for some small business owners that would get me a job (i can type fast) or at least pay me to do some dirty work that nobody else wants to do (heavy lifting / sweayt stuff not ment for people with suits and ties)
i am calm.... im very mellow
I know the feeling...dress up a bit...keep looking..after you get the job then revert back to the way you normally dress...might sound hypocritical, but everyone puts on a front to get a job...good luck...

CEP and Robert Kimball Settle Lawsuit - Houston News - Hair Balls
We'll never know if Community Education Partners would have been able to prove its contention in court that its chief critic, civic activist Robert Kimball, really was responsible for damaging its business in the Houston ISD and elsewhere in the state.
That's because after years of wrangling, the two sides settled and even the normally loquacious Kimball wouldn't say anything about what the terms were.
Kimball had called CEP's two alternative schools in Houston "dropout factories" and repeatedly questioned everything from their instruction methods (kids placed in front of computers) to their cost efficiencies, saying that too many students preferred to leave school rather than continue at either of their schools.
CEP filed its suit against the former Sharpstown High School vice principal initially for $4.7 million claiming that his disparaging remarks caused the Austin ISD to step away from a contract with CEP and caused HISD to reduce its own agreement with the private Nashville-based company. Last November, CEP increased the amount in its lawsuit to $9 million .
