I am looking for a school that can teach me how to trade stocks. I would like to learn at my own pace but dont want to buy out of date CDs. I see some schools online that I can pay thousands of dollars for, but is there an alternative? Is there a free, or nearly free resource that will teach a beginner about the stock market and how to trade effectively?
It may be worth taking a look at a low cost introductory course which will teach you all the basics
It will give you a good understanding of what you need to know, will save you a whole lot of time...and probably save you a whole lot of money in the long run.
www.StockMarketFunding.com learn about options trading tutorial, tutorial options trading, options trading system, option trading
I have a strong desire to get into somewhere around that field, but i have no clue where to start.
Because you are not 18 yet, you cannot open a brokerage account and trade stocks immediately. However, this is probably a great thing. You can use this time and your strong desire to educate yourself and even practice. There are many free guides full of great stock market trading information. Most importantly, practice the strategies you learn with paper trades in a free stock market game.
When you become old enough to invest your own money, you'll have gained very important knowledge and experience that will help you succeed.
http://www.stockprep.com is a good free place for beginners to start learning the basics of stock market trading.
http://www.investopedia.com is a good free place for intermediate and advanced traders to access tons of advanced stock market information and strategies.

Great project for students to trade among themselves or with "sister schools"
Where could I find a free technical school or a program that teaches people how to do online stock trading, in NY(C) areas?
I'm interested in online trading. Do you have any infos or know anybody or whatsoever...
Write back please...
Investigate the different investments you have available to you. Make THE BEST investment you can: Invest in yourself - your own education. Once you have that knowledge, no one can ever take it away.
In the beginning “newbie” traders & investors DO NOT INVEST any money. It probably won’t be long when you’ll feel you’re ready to invest your hard-earned money. Before taking that step, you really should do research about what you are investing in.
You should LEARN HOW:
A] the stock market works. B] to invest in many, many various ways. C] to properly trade
D] Properly manage the money in your trading account.
"Newbie" investors & traders ALWAYS make mistakes. In fact, throughout a person's trading, he/she makes mistakes.
In the beginning, you READ & LEARN about the market & how it works: Read "Investing for Dummies" As you read & do research about the investments you are interested in, sometimes you'll come across a financial or investment term you never heard before.
http://investopedia.com is a free site. It’s recognized by Y! A as a "Featured Knowledge Partner".
You can usually find excellent, easy-to-understand definitions of many financial & investment terms by going to Investopedia’s dictionary.
It also has a free, paper trading platform. You can set up a virtual account & almost trade as though you were trading with real money.
http://finance.yahoo.com is also recognized by Y! A as a "Featured Knowledge Partner"
THIS IS NOT SPAM: I DO NOT know this man. I am not associated w/ him in any way. I know of him & the wonderful book he wrote. You should invest in a copy of
“The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. Classon. You can get the book on http://amazon.com
Its easy to read & follow. You can write in it & make notes in it. Simply read five [5] pages of this book - or any book - each and every day.
OR You can leave it on the shelf, on a table or on the floor & let it collect dust.
Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Stock Trading Basics 2009 > Stock Picking Techniques .. Day Traders Online School
By.- http://www.MomentumStockPick.com
It’s no secret that in the stock market you can watch certain stocks rise more than 100% within a few minutes to days, regardless of market conditions.
The financial media constantly reports about momentum stocks that are achieving tremendous gains in matter of hours. And even when you can see online traders making 00 on a single day, it is also not unusual to watch beginner stock investors lose a great deal of cash because of a series of unwise decisions.
The problem is that if you don’t know how to choose among stocks & how to manage the trade, you could end up wasting dollars instead of making your profits grow.
Bogus stock trading software programs and complicated day trading systems that rely on a “boat load” of technical analysis indicators can confuse you and make you slow, and being slow when trading stocks can be as dangerous as not knowing what to do in the first place.
