Is Thunderbird school of management better of state universities of california like San Francisco or San Jose. Please Help
Beyond just the where the degree is earned it is always good to get some experience while working on your degree. Many businesses are hesitant to hire someone for the positions they would want with a MBA without some experience. It also depends on your version of a "great" job. Do you want the most possible money? A job with good benefits and flexibility? Do you want relocate or stay close to home? All of these questions would factor in.
An MBA degree is fairly popular among employers and students so do something to set yourself apart from the crowd no matter which school you choose.

San Francisco State is in heart of San Francisco, and you can easily get placed or get internship, where as Thunderbird boasts of its strong alumni and high ranking, so which school would be more appropriate career wise and particularly in getting placed
I would recommend Thunderbird over SF State definitely. Stanford and Berkely are the optimal choices in the area.
I would avoid the offsite Wharton-lite for the obvious reason that it can't be considered nearly as good as the true Wharton experience, plus Penn is currently taking a beating over it's involvement in the student loan scandal of about $1.6 million (IIRC).

I am going to the MBA Tour and there will be many schools which I am interested in applying to. I have set-up a one-on-one interview with someone from Thunderbird (a school I would love to go to). I have everything in order except my GMAT score, so I feel I will be able to present everything I have to offer besides the score. Also, I am very comfortable with interviewing in general and plan on being prepared to answer any questions regarding the school, my reasons for applying, goals, etc. If everything goes very well, what kind of impact can this have on me getting in?
When faced with your application and that of someone who did not interview, or someone whose interview didn't go well, they will give preference to yours. Those of us at business schools are constantly faced with a dilemma when dealing with students who are academically capable, but who lack the maturity or people skills to make it in the business world. The interview can weed out these problems.
