I have noticed that some of them I knew back when I went to high school are now working jobs like hotel clerk or flipping burgers. One ended up with a decent job that pays about 50k per year. Most ended up working lower paying jobs and I am talking about kids who were recruited to play football for Syracuse and basketball for UConn.
Is it true that a majority of the kids who get scholarships to play football for the top ranked D-1a schools or basketball for the top ranked D-1a schools will not go on to be millionaires or make the big bucks?
Most will not go on to play professionally. There are many more D1a players than there are professional draft picks.

I'm hearing a little hate in some of you guy's voices. This was nothing more than a random fact I stumbled upon, there's no point to be made and there's no need to get mad. However if you do happen to get mad, chances are that should reevaluate yourself.
Why does it matter
who is speculated as the top high school football recruit next year for the class of 2010?
please show evidence of this as well
From what I've read the number 1 prospect is supposedly from the State of Washington (yea that's right Washington........ not Washington DC).
His name is Jake Heaps who plays for Skyline Spartans in Sammamish, WA. Already ranked as a 5 star on scout, has numerous D1 offers from legit schools, and his highlight tape is amazing go look it up on youtube
seriously this guy actually looks pretty good
im entering my freshman and im clueless on how (besides playing good) how players get notice by powerhouse colleges like lsu, alabama, miami, ohio state,etc..
get good grades and be extremely good like one of the best in the nation
ok I asked this before and didn't get the answer I was looking for...
so here it is again
I'm looking to see who the number 1 prospect for high school football is in the CLASS OF 2010.
this is for the CLASS OF 2010 not 2009 (not the class with matt barkley and Russell Sheperd)...also meaning this years junior class not senior
honestly easy 10 points
